A few years ago, Amy stepped onto the stage at the Dickens Opera House in Longmont for her first open mic - and found home. That home, the Longmont music community, supported her and encouraged her love of writing introspective songs. In return, she has become passionate about supporting the community, and helping people find their way in music. Amy has over 10 years’ experience in nonprofit programming, partnership building, and fundraising. For the past 7 years, she has been working with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers. In this non-profit organization, she supports a strong volunteer community to help restore public lands which have been affected by floods, fires, and overuse of recreational users.
